Isolated oxycephaly (from Greek ὀξύς, “sharp, pointed”) is a late-appearing form of non- syndromic craniosynostosis characterized by premature fusion of both the coronal and sagittal sutures, and, in some cases, of one or both lamb-doid sutures [1–4].
