Points race - Wikipedia
A points race is a mass start track cycling event involving large numbers of riders simultaneously on track. It was an Olympic event for men from 1984 to 2008 and for women from 1996 to 2008. Since 2012, the points race has been one of the omnium events in the Olympics.

The points are accumulated throughout the year. The top six (6) events out of the Points Race Calendar will be counted. If a shooter competes in more than six (6) shoots, he/she still accumulates the 10 participation points for each additional shoot.

Each shooter who shoots registered targets at the Points Race will receive 10 points for participation. Additionally, points will be awarded based on the shooters finish in class: 1st & Ties – 100 Points. 2nd & Ties – 90 Points. 3rd & Ties – 80 Points. 4th & Ties – 70 Points. 5th & Ties – 60 Points. 6th & Ties – 50 Points. 7th & Ties – 40 Points.
