All Spanish speakers, how mutually intelligible is Italian to you?
Before learning even the slightest bit of Italian I definitely could read it and get a gist. After learning just basic verbs and nouns that are different (i.e. mangiare vs comer, parlare vs hablar), I believe it really becomes easier to understand both reading and speaking. Sometimes Italian seems like Spanish with a really interesting accent.

2021年4月26日 · As a native italian speaker I can say that from an academic point of view "nonni" (plural) means “grandparents” and "nonno" and "nonna" are "grandfather" and "grandmother" respectively.
