History Of North American Arcade Cabinets?
2008年4月27日 · Hey guys, long time member who rarely posts here. I am wondering if we can get a discussion going on the history of arcade cabinets in North America. I am 30 so as an adult, by the time I started collecting the arcade era was almost dead. My question as far as my own teen years is where did cabinets come from in the 90s?

2021年5月26日 · So I plan to buy 2 of these cabinets. 1 will be the vertical monitor, and the other will be a horizontal monitor (each with independent graphics representing some of the games within). This is best. I then want to strip the horizontal games out of the vertical one and strip the vertical games out of the horizontal one.

2015年7月14日 · Those Arcade Shop cabs do look nice for sure and that specific one is crt ready. I figure maybe if I ordered a lot of the parts from there they could be installed in the empty cab and I could at least save shipping on those items since they'd ship installed in the cabinet.

2013年8月4日 · My Rush 2049 cabinets have casters on them and it makes it much easier to move them. However, since it is on carpet, I have noticed that it can leave black marks on my carpet. I had taken off and cleaned the casters on my Rush prior to putting it where it is now on carpet, but it still left some marks.

2007年5月28日 · Even though the cabinets say 5amp and such, on average they draw 1.5-3 AMPS.....very little amperage. When they first kick on, the might spike to 5amps. We had to do the analyses for the museum. Our 220 games will take possibly 350 amps, though we're still going to use two 400amp sub-panels.
